Smoked Dried Chaabani Chili Olive Oil Recipes

Dried, red Chaabani peppers were dried in kilns that used olive wood and its smoke to dry them.  The dried peppers were ground simultaneously with the olives to produce a very concentrated flavor. Crafted in a very small batch of 1,000kg of olives and 40kg of smoked, dried red peppers. This mildly spicy oil is amazing on grilled shrimp, grilled fish, and as an overnight meat filet marinade.

Pairings 

Try pairing Baklouti Green Chili Olive Oil with the following for a dynamite salad dressing or marinade:
  • Strawberry Dark Balsamic 
  • Black Mission Fig Dark Balsamic 
  • Neapolitan Dark Balsamic
  • Cascadian Wild Raspberry White Balsamic ​

Common Uses
  • Add to a dipping dish with your favorite herbs for a spicy bread dipper
  • Use to cook eggs for a nice green chili flavor infused in the eggs.
  • Replace the vegetable oil in a brownie mix for a spice chocolate brownie.
  • Drizzle on a bagel before toasting in the toaster oven for a nice chili flavor under the cream cheese.
  • Drizzle in soups for an added zing! (especially in tomato soup)
  • Use in marinades.
  • Saute just about anything in it for an added zing!. ​
