Ingredients:
- 2 Pork chops
- 3-5 Whole garlic cloves (not chopped)
- 1 Tbs NHHS NH Maple Breakfast Sausage Blend (Divided)
- 1 Tbs MOV Rosemary Olive Oil
- 4 Tbs MOV Maple Dark Balsamic Vinegar (Divided, 3-1)
- 1/4 Turnip
- 4 Radishes
- 1 Apple
- 1 Pear
- 1/2 cup Cranberries
- Apple Cider to cover pork
Directions:
Cut the radishes into quarters, peel the turnip, and cut the rest of the fruit and vegetables to the same size as the radishes.
Add fruit, vegetables, whole raw garlic, about half the Maple Breakfast Blend, and 1 Tbs of Balsamic to a bowl, toss to combine, and set aside.
In a small bowl, add the remaining Balsamic and Maple Breakfast Blend. Mix until combined.
In a deep lipped pan (with a lid) heat the rosemary oil over medium heat (or about 350F).
While the pan heats, cover the pork chops with the balsamic mixture.
Sear both sides of the pork chops before adding the fruit and vegetables. Add just enough apple cider to cover the pork chops.
Leave on a low heat until pork chops are cooked through and reach a minimum temperature of 145F or leave until falling off the bone.
For A crockpot:
Exclude the step of searing the pork chops, and instead add all prepared ingredients, and let cook until falling off the bone. (about 3-4 hours)
