MOV Stuffing
From the MOV Kitchen
Ingredients:
- 1 Loaf of Bread Shed Ciabatta Bread
- 2 +/- cups Chicken Broth
- 1 Large Onion, Diced
- 4 Celery Stalks, Diced
- 2 Tbl NHHS Stuffing Herbs Blend
- Salt & Pepper to Taste
- 2-3 Tbl MOV Wild Mushroom and Sage Olive Oil or Baklouti Green Chili Pepper Olive Oil (for a spicy stuffing)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350F. In a large skillet over medium heat add enough Olive Oil of choice (about 1 TBL spoon) to fully coat the bottom. Add onion, celery and NH spice stuffing blend. Cook over medium-low until tender (do not brown) about 10-12 Minutes. Place bread cubes in a large bowl. Add onion mixture. Pour broth overtop until cubes are moist (but not soggy) and gently toss. Note: You may not need all the broth or might need just a little more. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Place mixture in a serving dish and generously coat the top with olive oil of choice. Cover with foil and bake for 35 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 10 minutes. Enjoy!! |
