Japanese Sesame Beef and Broccoli
Courtesy of Wozz! Kitchen Creations
Ingredients:
- Beef round steak cut into strips against the grain (approx 1 lb)
- Broccoli cut into florets
- 2 Tbs Sesame seed oil
- 1/4 cup Japanese Sesame Miso Dressing (for marinade) (additional used for final stir-fry step)
- 1 Tbs Soy sauce (optional)
Directions:
In a medium bowl combine soy sauce and Japanese Sesame Miso Dressing. If you don't want soy, then just omit. Add beef, marinade for 30 minutes. (we made a serving for two, so if you are making more just add enough Japanese Sesame Miso dressing to coat the beef to marinate)
Blanch broccoli in boiling salted water for 30 seconds, drain and place in ice water, drain again.
In a skillet on medium high heat, add sesame oil and brown beef on both sides (approx 2-3 minutes), until nice and browned.
Add broccoli to pan, drizzle with additional Japanese Sesame Miso (as much as you want) and keep stirring until broccoli is warmed through (about 2-3 minutes).
Serve (garnish with toasted sesame seeds if desired)
Enjoy!!
